Job Summary:

The Dropship Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers with orders for wound care, ostomy, and surgical supplies delivered directly to patients’ homes. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, processing insurance claims, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Patient Support:

• Assist patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers with product inquiries, order status, and delivery concerns.

• Provide guidance on product selection based on medical needs and physician recommendations.

• Address and resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.

Insurance Billing & Documentation:

• Process insurance claims and verify patient eligibility for wound care, ostomy, and surgical supplies.

• Work with insurance providers to ensure accurate and timely reimbursements.

• Maintain proper documentation and compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance policies.

• Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and denials.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare or medical supply industry.

• At least 1 year of insurance billing experience (DME, Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance preferred).

• Knowledge of wound care, ostomy, and surgical supplies is a plus.

• Proficiency in medical billing software and EHR systems.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for patient and provider interactions.
